This Summer, Climb Quest Milton Keynes has got involved in another HAF Programme funded by Milton Keynes City Council. Climb Quest has offered 8 HAF sessions, welcoming over 240 climbers to enjoy a 3-hour fun-filled activity, including lunch for young people with additional needs, who are also entitled to benefit-related free school meals.
The session includes 2 hours of climbing, plus time for lunch. The action-packed day gives the opportunity to scale 25 climbing walls as well as 2 extreme challenges. The climbing walls have varying difficulties and obstacles to overcome.
Climb Quest is the perfect activity to ensure that young people stay active and provides families with the opportunity to engage in activities they may not usually participate in. At Climb Quest we passionately share an ethos around inclusion for all abilities, hence why Climb Quest offers separate SEND sessions to meet requirements of individuals, as well as work with SEND charities such as Spectrum and MK Snap.
Climb Quest thoroughly enjoy being part of the HAF programme as it allows us to give back to the community, ensure inclusivity and provide a safe space as we understand the longest School holiday of the year can be a particularly challenging one. Climb Quest will continue their efforts to work with both SEND and community groups as well as support future programmes. If booking a community or SEND group is of interest to you, please contact us via email or telephone.
