In Climb Quest’s continued efforts to bridge the gap for young people, we hosted two work experience students from a local school. Both students, Israel and Jacob from Oakgrove Secondary, were offered a one-week placement to experience the world of leisure and worked across both our FOH and Climbing departments during their time.
During Israel and Jacob’s exit interviews, we asked them a few questions about their time with us.

'Jacob committed to the role and took on board all instructions well, his customer engagement was at a decent standard, and he was always happy to help all climbers. He adapted to all our different climbing sessions including SEND, toddler and school groups'
Our team were pleased to host more placements this academic year to guide and support upcoming school leavers, and both students done exceptionally well to adapt to a busy leisure scene despite having no previous experience.
