Free Climbing taster sessions for Blind and Visually Impaired children and adults

If the name Climb Quest Milton Keynes is new to you, we describe ourselves as where climbing centre meets theme park. Climbers can experience over 25 amazing looking challenges, that are suitable for all ages, abilities and confidence levels.

We have hosted several sessions over the years for blind and visually impaired climbers both under 16 years old and adults, and are keen to run these more regular in 2024. We are running two free taster sessions in February, with a view to running this on a monthly basis. One will be for under 16s and the other for adults, 16 years plus.

Dates and times of taster sessions

The 4 to 15 years session is on Wednesday 14th February at 6pm

The adult 16 years plus session is on Wednesday 14th February at 7pm

Dates and times of next follow up session

We have also scheduled the next session, which we hope then becomes a monthly fixture. There will be a cost to this, which is £11 per person and you will be able to book after the taster sessions in February.

The 4 to 15 years follow up session will be on Wednesday 13th March at 6pm

The adult 16 years plus follow up session will be on Wednesday 13th March at 7pm

What to expect from sessions and the centre

Sessions are 60 minutes including a short safety briefing at the start. Equipment is provided and our friendly instructors will be on hand to assist everyone. We have assistance hoists for any climbers with physical difficulties which can be booked in advance so we can set these up for the session.
