This Easter, Climb Quest Milton Keynes were pleased to take part in another HAF (Holiday and Food) Programme funded by Milton Keynes City Council. Across two days, Climb Quest delivered four HAF sessions, welcoming over 100 climbers for a fun-filled 3 hour experience.
These sessions were designed for SEND children and their families who were also entitled to benefit-related free school meals. Each session included two hours of climbing, along with a buffet lunch and table-based activities. Participants had the opportunity to explore 25 unique climbing walls and take on two exciting Extreme Challenges.
Climb Quest provides a fantastic way to keep young people active while giving families the chance to try something new. The experience offers more than just climbing, allowing each participant to challenge themselves and build confidence across a wide range of wall designs and difficulty levels.
Climb Quest has a strong commitment to being inclusive. The team is committed to making climbing accessible for as many people as possible, hence offering dedicated SEND sessions to allow a tailored approach to individual needs. General SEND sessions are available to the public every Sunday morning, plus additional dates during School holidays.
Being part of the HAF programme is an opportunity to give back to the community, provide a safe and engaging environment, and support families during the School holidays.
Climb Quest remains committed to working with SEND and community groups and are always looking to support future inclusive programmes and further HAF opportunities. For those interested in organising a session for a community or SEND group, you can contact the team via email or telephone.
