Please wear clothes you are comfortable being active in. Only closed toe shoes are allowed. For safety reasons, we cannot allow sandals or flip flops on the Climb Quest Arena, and please do not wear specialist climbing shoes. Please keep jewellery to a minimum. We have lockers to safely store jewellery and other valuables.
Please arrive 10 minutes before your session. The party organisers will most likely have arrived to greet you. We will check your waivers are completed, and check you in. If you are running late, we will do our best to get you into your climbing session with the minimum amount of climbing lost.
There over 1,000 free parking spaces, including parent & toddler and disabled spaces, at the Kingston Centre.
The party lasts approximately 2 hours from the session start time, consisting of 30 minutes for the safety briefing, 60 minutes for climbing and de-harnessing, and 30 minutes for the birthday meal in our party area.
As the parent/s of the party child are remaining on site, there is no obligation for parents of guests to stay on site during the session. However, you are very welcome to stay and watch the party group tackle the amazing Climb Quest climbing walls.
There is no obligation to come onto the arena. You can watch the session from our viewing area, enjoying a coffee and a chat with the other parents. Our friendly climbing team will be on the arena to help your climbers clip onto the walls.
We can allow up to 5 non-climbers onto the arena for each session.
These spaces are reserved for adults with 4-6 year-olds, climbers with additional needs or particularly nervous climbers and are allocated at the discretion of the climbing instructor leading your safety briefing. Non-climbing adults need to wear a hi-vis vest, attend the briefing and observe the safety rules such as not bringing bags or drinks onto the arena. There also may be other climbers in your session, but not in your party, that require an adult with them.
We sometimes have parties where most, if not all, of the parents of guests want to go on the arena to be with their child. We do need to limit the number of non-climbers on the arena to allow climbers and our instructors to move around freely and safely. The climbing instructor leading your safety briefing will usually hand the party organiser your group’s allocation of hi-vis vests to distribute to the parents of guests, who are very welcome to tag team in and out during the session. We thank you for your understanding and help with this.
